Driving Standards Agency (DSA) research shows that a novice learner will require, on average, 45+ of professional driving lessons with an additional 22 hours of private practice to pass their driving test. This will, of course, be dependent on an individual pupil's driving aptitude.

Post Test
Passing your driving test is just the first step. Qualified drivers may benefit from further tuition and IPASSÜ Driving School offers the following courses:

Pass Plus	£150.00	reduced insurance premiums with select insurance companies	Benefits of this modular course include improved driving awareness, motorway tuition and reduced insurance premiums. Pupil must have passed practical test within last year. Minimum 6 hours to complete the course, additional hours will be charged at the Pass Plus hourly rate.
Motorway Tuition	see rates		Particularly useful if not considering Pass Plus scheme as a newly qualified driver will not have driven on motorways during their driving lessons.
Refresher	see rates		For lapsed, qualified drivers wishing to return to the roads the refresher course consists of an assessment followed by whatever tuition is needed.
Technique Improvement	see rates		For qualified drivers wishing to improve on specific driving techniques e.g. reverse parking, confidence building
